後脚と笠木は積層したサクラ材ですので強度は充分かと考えています。座には藍染めの色が一番合うと思いましたが、もう少し華やかながらでもいいですね。
As back legs and stretcher are laminated cherry, strength is considered to be enough. Indigo-dyed cloth is used for the seat, because I felt the color of cherry wood and indigo would match well. I guess the seat design might be more flowery.
