2007年秋に作ったアームチェアは重さと座り心地に多少不満がありました。それらをすべて解消すること、私の椅子作りの初心に還る、という思いで作ったのが今回の椅子です。軽くて丈夫で掛け心地も無難な椅子ができました。今後の椅子作りはここから始めます。

I haven't been satisfied with the arm chair I made in the autumn, 2007. It was a little heavier than I had expected and a sitting sense wasn't comfortable enough. This time I made this chair to solve the dissatisfaction and to return to the fresh mind of chair making. You can now have the light, sturdy and comfortable chair. This is my re-start point of chair making.
