小学3年生から4歳までの4人の子供がいる家族のテーブルです。これまではちいさなこたつでなんとかやってきたそうですが，いよいよどうにもならなくなってしまい，ご注文のはこびとなりました。しっかり者で厳しい目を持つお姉ちゃん始め，私も大好きな活発で創造的なきょうだいとご両親が一同に会した時のにぎやかな様子を想像しながら製作しました。実際の寸法ほど大きさを感じさせない事、重々しくならなずに軽快な印象を持たせる事，小さな子供の安全を考慮する事がこのテーブルのテーマです。このうち最後の目的のために面は大きめにしてあります。
This table is for a family that has four kids, from 4 to 9 years old . They have managed to dine at a small sitting table, but it is almost impossible these days because the kids have been growing, thus they decided to get a bigger one. I enjoyed constructing this table imagining alive(noisy?) time when all this family members, the oldest girl with reliable and strict character, other active and creative kids and their parents, get together to dine or to do some other purposes . It was a joyful and exciting time.
The theme of this table I tried is not to make you feel the size as it is but have the light impression, and to keep children safe. For the last end most edges have rather big round shape.
